It’s summer in Pakistan and that means…. LAWN SEASON! In Pakistan’s blistering heat, there’s few fabrics and outfits that are breathable and comfortable enough to bear the summers of Pakistan and every woman’s go to summer outfit is a lawn jora. Let’s looks at this seasons best Pakistani lawn brands!

Best Pakistani Lawn Brands:

Zara Shahjahan

Zara Shahjahan’s lawn collection may be considered a more luxury lawn collection since it’s on the higher price end for lawn but their range is impeccable!

Zara Shahjahan has the perfect mix between elegance and tradition combined with modernity and chicness. You can always tell a girl is in Zara Shahjahan because they most probably look the coolest. This years lawn collection has so many colors from bright pinks and blues to navy blue and the longer kameez style is super trendy and elegant! Another major plus is that their pieces are formal enough to wear for all occasions!

I could totally see any girl in Pakistan wearing one of these joras to lunch and shopping and then to dinner too – super versatile. Of all the brands I’ll discuss today, I think Zara Shahjahan is my favorite for this year’s lawn, even if their pieces may be more investment pieces than some of the other brands. Totally worth it!! Here’s some of my favorite lawn outfits from their collection:

Sana Safinaz

Talk about lawn to any Pakistani aunty and I bet the first thing they’ll say is: “Sana Safinaz ki nayi lawn collection dekhi hai?!”. To be honest, though, Sana Safinaz’s last few collections – though beautiful – have been falling a little flat. It’s almost as if the brands run out of ideas and is running around trying to scrap something together. This summer, however, they seem to have stepped up their game and their summer 2020 lawn collection is beautiful!

Their Mahay Summer’20 collection is vibrant and colorful and reminds me of a fruity cocktail – in the best way possible! With a wide range of colors – from purple to red to yellow to blue to pink – there’s a color for every girl to fall in love with.

In general, given the price and range, Sana Safinaz is one of the best Pakistani lawn brands. Let’s see some summer favorites from the Mahay Collection:

So Kamal

So Kamal is another famous lawn brand. The brand isn’t the trendiest and some of their outfits seem a little dated, but their prices are great and they always have a large variety.

There’s always sets on sale for as little as 1200 PKR – now that’s a deal you won’t get at Zara Shahjahan or Sana Safinaz. But keep in mind that the brands are not in the same tier. Shahjahan is targeted as more of a luxe brand, Safinaz is inbetween, and So Kamal is a more affordable brand. Regardless, you need to have a couple of So Kamal joras on hand. They’re great for running errands. Or going to lunch. Or just an everyday outfit. Pretty and affordable – can’t ask for much more! Check these out:
